Preparation
If you are preparing a new paper, please follow the official MWA Publication Policy and include the required Acknowledgements and any required Authors (see below). If your paper includes a required Builders list, please also read the Builders Policy.

Required Authors (Builder's Lists)
The MWA recognizes has recognised the contributions of many team members to at different points in the project through a 's history through Builder's Lists. These are required author list lists for all academic journal articles. The list of required authors changes with time in accordance with the MWA Board's intention to eventually eliminate required authors from MWA-related publications as the telescope increasingly becomes an operational instrument. Several required author lists have been used at different times in the project history:, and their use is largely dependent on when a publication is proposed.
Currently, no new MWA Publications require inclusion of a builder's list, with the exception of individual science theme group policies, or Phase II flagship papers identified by the Project Scientists and then approved by the Board.

The following files and python script from LIGO member Leo Stein can be used to generate author lists with the appropriately numbered affiliations for people. You may still have to fiddle adjust to add emails, but this will do the majority in the right format for IOP journals such as ApJ.

Right now the authors are just in alphabetical order, but of course they can be re-ordered or changed as needed. If you find any authors/affiliations missing or in error, please let the PS Principal Scientist know. Note that this is just a bunch list of the authors seen in MWA papers: ; it is not meant to imply any builders list etc. See make-iop-author-list.py for instructions on changing those files.
