Jaiverdhan Chauhan (Unlicensed)

• continuation of XRB proposal

  • MAXI paper is nearly ready for submission and should
  • Maxi J1820 paper will begin soon.

James Miller-Jones

Steve Prabu

  • Completed a blind survey of satellites with archival data. Paper is submitted and under review.
  • Currently working on orbit determination for objects detected in same paper.

Xiang Zhang

• No new proposal
• Update
  • working on polarization pipeline of the GLEAM-X survey
  • MWA transients projects which require or benefit from polarization information should now be much more achievable!

Zhijun Xu

• Unsure if a new proposal will be submitted, interested in SGR and FRB like repeaters, so will discuss with VCS group
• Update
  • working on the pipeline or simulated FRB signals (in askap data), using AI to search the raw data.
  • testing on a range of different algorithms
  • looking to extend this to an image based approach (similar to the data products that we get from the fast imaging pipeline)
  • interested in extending to MWA data
