       The actual data transfer when downloading via the manta-ray-client or via wget / web browser is not now unencrypted http traffic. NOTE: the URL you use still contains "https" however, the server will redirect you to a http URL of the server the files reside on. This should prevent firewalls from dropping encrypted traffic and also provide a modest efficiency/throughput increase.
